Have lived in this area for 10 yrs and just tried Napoli's for the first time this weekend. It was recommended to us by a neighbor and I'm so sorry we have not eaten here before. Prices were good and the pizza quality was by and far better than any chain. Even better than another family-owned pizza joint nearby; which I'm a huge fan of so that is really paying Napoli's a compliment. Based on the interior decorations, I'd likely prefer to keep 'taking out'. It's a bit old fashioned and dark. A face-lift would really do it some good. Ordered white pizza, bread sticks, a side of Alfredo sauce and an entree of stuffed shells. Shells were not extraordinary but still very good. The pizza and the Alfredo sauce were out-of-this-world delicious! The personality of the waitress was hot and cold. Very cold when I called to place my order (like she had far better things to do) but very warm when we picked it up. She told me the cooks make everything from scratch with fresh ingredients...but they weren't Italian, they were Irish. Odd comment, you think? Regardless, the food was dynamite and we'll go back again without a doubt. That being said, there are 3 negatives I can add: They have no website, no take-out menu to bring home and do not deliver. I'm also sad they are not open on Sundays. Their menu is listed on their Facebook page.

We love Napoli's. The pizza is the best around and the prices are reasonable. The service is always excellent and the food comes out pretty fast. It may not be that appealing to the eye, but the food says enough. Love love love it there!

Pizza is the best in the area, wish they were open on Sunday for football. We have never had a bad meal here, the prices are awesome. Staff is friendly. Their lunch specials can't be beat, subs are delicious. Love the homemade italian salad dressing.

I have visited Napoli's several times over the past year. Their pizza is decent, and their prices are very fair. The pizzas here are nothing to rave about, but it they are not bad and are certainly better than most chain restaurant pizzas. The last two times that I have visited, I found that the service was a bit too invasive, even a bit rude. Friendly servers are good a good thing, but servers who loudly hijack your table's conversation are a bit too much to feel like dealing with when decent pizzas are relatively easy to find elsewhere.

First time eating here. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and clams in white sauce. The mushrooms were delicious, and the marinara was to die for; it's something I tend to be pretty picky about. The clam sauce was okay. It was blander than I had expected, as I had asked for extra garlic. The salad was nothing special. I was disappointed with the iceberg lettuce. It's definitely not a fancy place. Hard wooden booths and beer branded lamps. It has a very unauthentic feel, but I could see this being my go to hideaway for a glass of wine with a side of stuffed mushrooms :) Edit: in the picture that I posted it only shows a few of the mushrooms. That's because I already ate half of them.

The BEST pizza joint around. I just hate that they are closed on Sundays- but I guess they need to rest too... The pizza is truly the best around. I go at least once a week to get one or more pizzas for family and guests.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much, a smallish place located in a strip mall. When you walk inside, the decor appears to date back to the day they opened...in the 1980's I'm assuming. To put it kindly, I've seen more modern bathrooms at gas stations. One thing soon becomes clear, this isn't a place you would go for the ambiance, unless you like hard wooden booths and bar-style beer-branded lamps hanging above your head. It didn't seem to bother the only other customers, two septuagenarians, eating along with us. My mom and I ended up stopping here based on her suggestion that I try their food out, assuring me it was up to par with what she knows I expect. Knowing how much I love Italian food, I trusted her judgement and thankfully I wasn't let down. The Linguini Carbonara I ordered had a great consistency and flavor, although it could have used a little more salt. That was an easy fix, but I wondered it they adjusted the recipe to suit their seemingly frequent "older" guests. My mom had the Stuffed Eggplant which I tried and it tasted equally as good. The salads you get with the meal were wholesome in veggie variety but the quality was lessened by using basic iceberg lettuce and not romaine. The tasty garlic bread, however, made up for it. Overall, Napoli's is a place I probably wouldn't have stopped to eat at, let alone notice, had it not been for being told about it. If you can forgive the antiquated decor though, you'll have an awesome meal.

Tried this place for the first time today . Ordered pizza to go . Pretty good . The chicken parm was horrible .

Let me down again. Warning to everyone: if you order a take out pizza, open the box! You pay for the toppings, but they are often (1time out of 3), not on the pizza you ordered and paid for. Called them and made them refund me price for the toppings I didn't get! Really disappointing!

This is my favorite place for pizza in the area. So much better then any chain pizza place. It's a bit old fashion decorations on the inside but service is good. It has a homey feel to the place and they recognize their regulars. One waitress has a character of her own, makes me laugh every time. I have tried their lasagna as well and it is pretty good. They have different specials through out the week as well. My only complaint is I wish they were open on Sunday's!!

Very nice place, 18 inch cheese $12.25, affordable for a change. Pizza had a lot of cheese, not much dough, also other entrees reasonably priced. Pizza isn't like NY hard to fold due to slices cut small to create 12. But will be back to try out lunch sub specials. No coupons available but don't need them. One waitress served the 4 active tables, can see a problem there if more customers showed up. May be our once a week place to go, a bit out of the way, but good excuse to go to Acme comic store down the street. Just a restaurant, no "Craft beer", "Veggie burgers", "Gourmet pizza" nonsense just affordable "Tasty" food. Had garlic bread, pepperoni pizza, Italian sub, and drinks. All "great, not good", Pepsi products "Meh", but I can live with it, Michelob, Bud beer $2.00 a mug may be a good alternative. Look Yelp, I used Craft beer, Meh, Gourmet, Veggie, Great not good, and Tasty, do I win a prize? Here I'll even add no "Hipsters" in sight. Will try them again soon, for perhaps an upgrade to 5 stars. I found their menu online, but it all won't fit. So here is some of it. The food is as good as it gets! The pizza is awesome, the subs are awesome, and most of the entrees are awesome too. I know the restaurant is family owned, and they make everything from scratch - all the way down to making their own sauce and grating their cheese fresh every day. I agree that one of the servers is a little wild as has been mentioned, but she is very nice and I don't go here to have for excellent service. I go for the food! My husband and I went here for years and we moved to NC a few years ago and visit every time we come down to visit family.

Had dinner with friends tonight. I've lived here a long time and this place lame, dirty and old. The food hasn't changed AT ALL. The specials are just menu items. The menu is several pages. There is a whole page of just subs. I went with the sausage and green pepper calzone. I was unimpressed even though it was huge. The inside dough wasn't cooked at all and the bits of diced peppers and shreds of sausage weren't enough for the amount of dough. If you are charging the same amount of money for toppings, then I should have gotten a pizza's worth of sausage and peppers in the calzone., but it wasn't even close. The edges were hard to gnaw through and the middle wasn't done enough. There was a lot of cheese, but had no flavor, it was like eating snot. It was served with a cup of red sauce that wasn't seasoned very well. Don't bother with it. My friends split a pizza and asked for it well done. They were happy with the way it arrived, so who am I to judge. It looked good. My server knew my friends very well, so there was WAY more "gruff love" than I prefer. But she caught my vibe and didn't start up with me. She was efficient and attentive to all her tables. Kudos to her. Now for the decor. It is easily 20 years old (and a case could be made for 30!). Uncomfortable benches in the booths and a few tables in the middle. It needs to be completely updated AND CLEANED! Waitresses, clean your tables and the wall in the booths. The busboy sits on his ass more than he is moving around, clearly he needs more to do. Take a long weekend and close down and paint, put up new pictures and get rid of those bar lights. The owner needs to call Restaurant: Impossible or someone for help! The menu needs updating and so does the interior. Bottom line: get your order to go. Pizza looks good and I've had some subs before (how bad can you screw up a sub?) and they were good.

Best chicken parmesan I've had anywhere ever! This place was highly recommend by a friend who took us and you can bet we'll be going back. You would never know by looking at the place, but the food is amazing and it's the best Italian food around. To bad yelp only lets me give it five stars. Warning: You may get hooked on this place!

The pizza here is very good. We have eaten in the restaurant and also enjoyed the take-out. There is a reason they have been in business all of these years. Try the antipast salad with your pizza - so good. Very nice family owned restaurant.

The food is very good and the prices can't be beat. I only wish they delivered or were open on Sunday. Those two things are the only thing I can see as being a negative with this establishment the service is great the food is good and it's not overly expensive

wow...it has been almost fifteen years since i have been here. nothing changed...in dire need of a make over. floors are filthy and so are booths. even the front door was gross. red wine was served cold....pizza was soggy in the middle so much so we couldn't pick it up. the pineapples were crushed on the pizza...not the way my kids like it. my oldest gave it two stars and i agree.

Prices are reasonable, the sauces are good, and the service is fine. Friendly and relaxed restaurant. Try the Chicken Parmesan. Don't come for the decor, as it looks alittle "divey", but the place does fill up with locals often (perhaps its biggest endorsement).

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
